The third Byron BDS Conference featuring guest speakers Nasser Mashni (President of APAN) and Remah Naji
The academic, sporting, cultural and trade boycott of Israel is the fundamental non-violent tactic to bring about three key objectives: An end to the occupation, the right of return of Palestinian refugees and an end to Apartheid.
In 2005 Palestinian civil society gathered en masse and unanimously called for the world to boycott, divest and sanction (BDS) Israel similar in the way the world applied this non-violent tactic to South Africa and ended apartheid there. BDS remains the one effective tool that everyone can embrace on an individual level to make a difference in the struggle for Palestinian rights
Keynote addresses from invited speakers will be followed by a Q&A session where attendees can seek answers and advice for embracing BDS.
