We’re excited to invite you to celebrate with us right in the heart of Narrm/Melbourne!
Join us at 5:30PM on Friday 27 October in Federation Square to witness the raising of the Palestinian flag, and to experience the multifaceted and vibrant culture of the Palestinian community in Victoria. There will be traditional Palestinian food, dessert, memorabilia, dance, poetry, storytelling and live music! Additionally, there will be food stalls, interactive artistic programs for children and adults, henna and face painting.
Palestine National Day celebration is sponsored by Palestinian community and civil society organisation such as; Palestinian Community Association of Victoria, Australia Palestine Advocacy Network, Australians for Palestine, Palestinian Beit Jala Association, Free Palestine Melbourne, Casey Friends of Palestine, Know Thy Heritage and the City of Melbourne amongst others. Not in Melbourne? We’ll also be livestreaming the event through social media, so you’ll be able to join us wherever you are!
