Parliamentary Friends of Palestine Screening of “Palestine Under Siege”

June 18 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The screening will be held in the Parliamentary Theatrette at 6PM on Tuesday June 18.

Filmed and edited by Australian filmmakers John Reynolds and Jill Hickson, Palestine Under Siege delves into the heart of the struggle for Palestinian self-determination. Survivors of the 1948 Nakba, along with Palestinian and Jewish activists, share their experiences and insights of living under Israeli apartheid and highlight Israel’s accelerating colonisation of Palestinian land.
You can read more about the film here.
The screening will be followed by a brief panel discussion and Q&A with the filmmakers and Dr Peter Slezak, Rand Darwish, and former Greens Senator for NSW, Lee Rhiannon, all of whom visited Palestine and conducted interviews and research as part of the film.
As space is limited, it would be greatly appreciated if you could RSVP to electorateoffice.newtown@parliament.nsw.gov.au ASAP.
Yours faithfully,
