Run for Palestine

On Saturday the 5th of October Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network invites you to joinwith those who want justice for Palestine when we set off for a family-friendly 8.6km run(4.3km walk) to raise awareness about the injustices experienced daily by Palestinians.The ongoing occupation of Palestinian land by Israel hasnever been more visible, with the latest bombing anddestruction of Gaza now in its 10th month, and in excessof 40,000 people murdered.The Run for Palestine event route is along the beautifulTamar River foreshore. Participants in the run will beraising money for the Australian charity Olive Kids, anorganisation working to improve the lives of children inthe Occupied Palestinian Territories. The event will alsofeature music and food for runners and supporters.
