Speak Out Against ANZCA Platforming Carolyn Weiniger

It’s time for medical colleges to speak up against genocide!
Gather with us outside the Australian College of Anaesthetist’s annual conference to protest the platforming of Carolyn Weinger, a zionist anaesthesiologist and gynaecologist.
Israel has indiscriminately slaughtered medical professionals and patients, purposefully destroyed over 26 medical facilities and continues to blockade medical supplies. Gazans are undergoing procedures – from caesarean sections to amputations – without anaesthesia.
Professor Weiniger has publicly shared posts on her X page that include anti-Palestinian racism, objecting to a ceasefire, justification for Israel’s bombing of Gaza’s hospitals, suggestions that the provision of humanitarian aid for civilians should be conditional and denying that there is a lack of anaesthesia in Gaza. She has even objected to a ceasefire.
While ANZCA is aware of her beliefs, they have decided to platform her. The college is complicit in normalising relations with countries and individuals who commit and/or endorse genocide. This is symbolic of Australian medical institutions’ silence in the face of Israel’s war crimes. It cannot continue.
