Tatreez Time with Gina Barjeel

Join us for an enchanting journey into the world of Palestinian embroidery! Gina’s workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn the art of traditional Palestinian embroidery (Tatreez), where every pattern tells a story and every thread is a connection to heritage. Perfect for all skill levels, this workshop will guide you through the beautiful, intricate designs that have been passed down through generations. There will be two sessions for you to choose from on Saturday 31st August – from 10am – 1pm and from 1.30pm-4.30pm. Tickets start from $85.
What’s more, Palestinian chef/caterer, Aheda’s Kitchen, will be joining us to prepare a delicious light Palestinian plate and Knafeh. Also, 30% of the proceeds will be donated Community Care Kitchen and Palestinian Christians Australia, two charities that are providing immediate resettlement support to newly arrived refugees from Gaza.
