To protest the Israel’s genocide and ongoing occupation of Palestinian lands, and celebrate the sumud of the long Palestinian resistance, Wooditchup (Margaret River) locals will gather to raise Palestinian flags and chant their way through the centre of town.

This is a recurring protest which Celebrate Palestine South West have called every week at the same time since early-2024.

The regional group seeks to: bring together likeminded witnesses to daily horrors Israel inflicts on the residents of Gaza and the West Bank; keep Palestine at the front of people’s minds by maintaining a visible presence; learn and educate each other and the broader community about Palestinian history, art and culture; and create pathways for activists and advocates to contribute to the broader struggle.

All ethnic and religious backgrounds and nationalities welcome.
