Whitehorse Council Rally

Whitehorse Council refused the booking of a public space to local Palestine Solidarity Community Group (Menzies For Palestine @menziesforpalestine) for an education or film screening event! The group was told the event posed a safety risk to council staff and public buildings. The group was refused a chance to discuss the decision with council, not provided formal documentation and not allowed to propose solutions to alleviate councils concerns. This blatant anti-Palestinian discrimination cannot go unnoticed.
