Window into Filastin

May 18 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

A festival of solidarity celebrating Palestine’s culture and heritage.

Join the Albury-Wodonga community as we explore Palestinian culture and identity through the lens of its people.

This event commemorates the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, which saw the displacement of over 800, 000 Palestinians from their land. Amidst the unprecedented devastation and loss of life, the Palestinian people have shown the world lessons in humanity. Let us unite to honour and recognise them- their struggle, resilient history, rich heritage and vibrant culture.

This event is occurring on Wiradjuri land. We acknowledge the ongoing sovereignty and connection to land, and pay our respects to Elders past and present.

Come along, wear your keffiyeh, and together, let us stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

This is a family friendly event. Anti-Palestinian, Antisemitic and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
