DESCRIPTION:To start the series of talks for 2026 hosted by the Northern Beaches Committee for Palestine\, Prof. Stuart Rees\, one of our most distinguished speakers\, will discuss Trump’s so-called Gaza Board of Peace. Stuart is Professor Emeritus\, University of Sydney and Founder\, Sydney Peace Foundation. He has a long history of activism in human rights and peace issues. \nShamikh Badra\, PhD student\, member of the Northern Beaches Committee for Palestine\, founder of the Gaza Surf Lifesaving Project and former student of Prof. Rees will introduce the evening. \nThere will be time for questions. Free snack food and drink are provided.
