On the 73rd anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba to say NO to Israel’s ongoing, intensifying Nakba and its war crimes, and to demand the right of the Palestinian refugees to return home.

This vigil will commemorate the ‘Catastrophe’ – the displacement and destruction of Palestinian people and places in 1948. Join on the lawns outside Parliament House for quiet reflection and speakers. RSVP to tasfop@gmail.com

In 2016 the Australian Friends of Palestine established a Nakba commemorative plaque at the Migration Museum on the Migration Memorial Wall. The 2021 ceremony will be conducted next to this plaque.
