Why does it matter?

➤ Despite the Australian Government’s vote in support of Palestinian self-determination after the July 2024 ICJ advisory opinion, there is still no ban on Australian charities sending funds to support the maintenance and expansion of these settlements.
➤ This bill ensures transparency and accountability, preventing Australian public and charitable funds from contributing to human rights abuses.
