APAN Values

Australian Palestine Advocacy Network (APAN) acknowledges that we live and work on unceded Aboriginal lands. We acknowledge Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge their role as custodians of these lands. We acknowledge the dispossession and on-going harm done to Aboriginal peoples by colonisation and we are inspired by their fight for recognition, rights, culture and self-determination. We pledge to support their work for justice, as we work for justice for Palestinian people.

APAN is actively opposed to all forms of racism and discrimination including antisemitism and Islamophobia. APAN is committed to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to the application and implementation of international law. We seek to work with all our partners to ensure our work is supporting freedom of all. APAN advocates for peace and justice in historic Palestine (Israel/Palestine) based on UN resolutions and international law that includes the right to self-determination for Palestinians.
