Arts Impact Society, in collaboration with Mountains for Palestine are hosting their first community-driven event in Katoomba this Saturday,
From Here to There is a day of solidarity with First Nations and Palestinians on Dharug and Gungundurra land.
We kick off our day with our collective fundraiser market featuring works of local artists, crafts, local and pre-loved goods, street food, music and workshops. All items have been generously donated by community.
We will also have a bake sale hosted by Community Care Kitchen, with all funds going to support feeding Palestinians in Gaza.
The market will be followed by a powerful documentary ‘Motherhood in the Colony’, including a post-screening circle and reflection.
Motherhood in the Colony is an intimate cross-cultural exchange between First Nations and Palestinian women, created by Garuwa and Bukjeh, with support from Common Ground First Nations.
