Terms & Conditions

APAN is a not-for-profit organisation, and the generosity of supporters enables our advocacy for Palestine. We act in good faith and ensure all gifts are used as intended.

Memberships
APAN is a membership-based organisation, and membership fees provide core funding for our work. Membership fees are due on 1 July each year.

Members may cancel at any time and request a pro-rata refund. If a fee is paid in error (e.g. duplicate payments), members are entitled to a full refund or a credit for future membership.

Events
APAN incurs upfront costs when hosting events, including catering and venue bookings.

If you buy a ticket and later cannot attend, please consider treating the ticket as a donation.

Refunds may be considered in cases of emergency or financial hardship—please contact us.

Products
APAN sells products to support our campaigning. Items are made on demand and often sold at cost.

If a product is faulty, we will replace it where possible. If replacement is not possible, we will issue a full refund, including postage.

Auction and raffle prizes
Many organisations and individuals generously donate prizes for APAN events. While we take care to confirm that donors can supply the goods or services offered, APAN cannot issue refunds if a donor is ultimately unable to provide the prize.

Sponsorship
APAN is grateful to the businesses that provide sponsorship for our events.  Sponsorship arrangements are confirmed in writing before funds are accepted.

If APAN cannot deliver the agreed benefits, we will offer a full or partial refund, depending on the portion of benefits not delivered.

Study Tours
APAN occasionally offers Study Tours to Palestine. Minimum participant numbers and tour fees are set to cover costs.

A non-refundable deposit is required when applying; this is credited toward the tour fee once the tour is confirmed.

A tour proceeds only once minimum numbers are reached. After confirmation, the remaining fee must be paid in full before the tour begins. Inclusions and exclusions are outlined in the tour documentation.

The tour fee is generally non-refundable, unless APAN can secure refunds from external providers (e.g. airlines or accommodation). This also applies if participants are refused entry, become unwell, or change their mind. Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance.
