Join us on Saturday October 10th for APAN’s annual Melbourne Dinner, an evening of community, solidarity, and collective action for Palestine.

Gathering on Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung land, the evening will bring together community members, advocates, organisers, and supporters for a night of connection, hear from leading voices for Palestine, and raise vital funds to sustain APAN’s work.

This year, we are honoured to welcome Professor Michael Fakhri, Professor at the University of Oregon and former UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food (2020-2026). Professor Fakhri is a leading international voice on food sovereignty and has been outspoken in exposing Israel’s use of starvation against Palestinians in Gaza. 

We will also hear from Hiba Farra, APAN Vice President, who will share more about APAN’s work and the importance of sustaining advocacy, campaigning and movement-building for Palestinian justice and liberation in Australia.

Across the evening, guests will hear from our speakers before sharing dinner and conversation, followed by a live auction, raffle and silent auction. We’ll close the evening together with Knafeh and Dabke. 

This year’s auction will feature significant Palestinian works and items, including art prints by Sliman Mansour, a limited-edition signed print by Nabil Anani donated by Zawyeh Gallery in Ramallah, alongside artworks, clothing and pieces by Palestinian artisans.

Every ticket, bid and donation directly supports APAN’s ongoing advocacy, campaigning, and grassroots organising efforts for Palestinian justice and liberation.
