Merri-bek and Northern Suburbs for Palestine has called a protest against Deborah Conway performing at the Brunswick Ballroom on Friday November 7.

Gather at 6:30pm out front of Brunswick Ballroom at 314 Sydney road, Brunswick and make our voices heard.

Deborah Conway is a self-proclaimed Zionist who has been outspoken about her support for Israel’s military actions in Gaza which amounts to genocide.

When she was interviewed on ABC Radio in 2024, responding to a question about the disproportionate number of children who have been killed in Gaza.

Conway responded by stating

“It depends on what you call kids”

Additionally, she has been linked to Zionist campaigns of harassment targeting pro-Palestinian writers and publications.

We believe those who openly support Apartheid Israel and genocide should be boycotted and shunned.

We condemn the Brunswick Ballroom for giving her a platform to perform.

No place for genocide supporters in Merri-bek.
