The Big Ride for Palestine 2025 has kicked off around the globe, including in the UK, where it has become an annual event since 2015!

The Big Ride is a global initiative by supporters of the Palestinian people that combines a love of cycling, running and walking with practical solidarity and awareness raising. More details can be found here:

We raise money to support organisations that assist the Palestinian people to live with dignity and peace.

We encourage participants and supporters to deepen their understanding of the plight of the Palestinians, to discuss with their friends and colleagues and to join local Palestinian solidarity organisations.

In Australia, the Big Ride will be held nationally from 8th to the 30th November this year. There will be teams from Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

We continue our partnerships with NGOs Union Aid Abroad (APHEDA), MAAN development, the Palestinian Women’s Humanitarian Organisation and Palestine Fair Trade Australia.

All donations collected are distributed through APHEDA that has projects in Palestine and Lebanon. MAAN has been very active in providing aid to Gaza where possible.

You can register to ride, run or walk by choosing a target distance, getting your campaign jersey or tee and taking part individually or joining a team, or sponsoring someone who can.

The following events will be held in Euroa on 30 November 2025. You can register to take part in all or selected events.

8am – Big (25km) Ride for Palestine – starting at shelter/bbq area at Seven Creeks Park, Kirkland Ave, Euroa – circuit Sheans Creek and around Balmattum Hill, back to Seven Creeks Park – moderate fitness level required, https://www.alltrails.com/trail/australia/victoria/shean-s-creek

12pm – Picnic for Palestine – starting at shelter/bbq area at Seven Creeks Park, Kirkland Ave, Euroa – bring a plate to share.
