Please join us for the Sydney premiere of Until the Sky Falls Quiet, a documentary about two doctors from Western Sydney who volunteer to go on a medical mission to Gaza in 2024.

Filmed in real time with much of the footage captured by the doctors themselves, Until the Sky Falls Quiet is a rare and intimate record of resilience, loss, and the human cost of bearing witness in the world’s largest ‘open air prison’.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A panel comprised of humanitarian doctors and aid workers who have volunteered their time in Gaza. The panel will be moderated by Nour Haydar and speakers includes Dr Siraj Sira (General Practitioner), Dr Sanjay Adusumilli (General and Colorectal Surgeon), Dr Bushra Othman (General and Colorectal Surgeon) and Khaled Shakhshir (Engineer). This panel will answer audience Q&As about the realities of working in Gaza.

Katie Shammas (APAN) will also be presenting a short talk on the BDS movement and why collective action is so important.
