Volunteer with APAN

Donate your time to help us achieve Palestinian justice.

Volunteers play an essential role in APAN’s work and the broader solidarity movement.

  • Help us put on our events
  • Undertake research, produce information, edit and write
  • Monitor and respond to the media
  • & much, much more…

If you’d like to assist in one of these areas or have other skills you’d like to offer please be in touch!

We also encourage you to contact your local group to get involved.

Become a Press Responder

We have a remote team of volunteers who write letters to the media and national papers to critique and correct misleading or inaccurate information on Palestine.

Anyone can sign up to this, we will send regular emails with articles we’d like you to write about and you can write to the editor in your own time.

Current opportunities

Any current volunteer opportunities are listed below:

Volunteer Researcher – BDS Boycott Targets

We are seeking volunteer researchers to assist in developing an evidence-based boycott list of products and brands relevant to an Australian audience.

The project aims to identify corporations, with a recognisable brand presence in Australia, that are materially implicated in Israel’s illegal occupation and genocide, based on publicly available evidence and internationally recognised legal and human rights frameworks.

You can review the research project description here.

Volunteer opportunities outside of APAN

Palestine Fair Trade Australia

Looking for volunteers to assist with markets in Melbourne and Sydney, web site design and sales.

International Solidarity Movement

ISM has a presence in the West Bank and they need more people on the ground as many villages are being threatened with violence and erasure. Their focus is on providing protective presence to deter attacks from settlers or soldiers.

Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI)

EAPPI brings international monitors to the West Bank to serve as Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs). EAs provide a protective presence as an international observer to deter and reduce human rights violations in Palestinian communities.
