This reading group is designed to develop interest, knowledge, understanding, and expertise in the various political economy dilemmas and crises that relate to Palestine. These emerging topics have broader relevance outside their strict application to Palestine, whether that be in the West Bank, Gaza, or the diaspora, and so the reading group will read these topics by considering how they relate to Palestine within a broader global political economy. These reading groups will also foster broader connections between academics, activists, and interested members of the public to advance research and knowledge within a crucial area that is currently lacking across tertiary institutions in Australia (and broader society in general).
