Investigation into Australian trade with Israel

The Australian Minister for Trade expressed his support for a free trade deal with Israel in early 2021.  Subsequently the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced a feasibility study on strengthening trade and investment with Israel.

APAN made an extensive submission to the inquiry, arguing that while Israel is flagrantly breaching international law, we should be restricting, not expanding trade.  Read APAN’s full submission
